Pre-Money Valuation: US$260M

Minimum Investment US$25,000

Investment Highlights

Raphael offers a valuable combination of 3D leads with major oil company scale (Occidental Petroleum) prospective oil and gas resources recoverable - mean unrisked: oil 5.0 billion barrels, gas 3.1 oil-equivalent barrels – at relatively shallow depth (~4,200 meters) for exceptional potential economics, coupled with as many as four associated indirect hydrocarbon indications that have an 80% rate of discovery.

Unrisked deterministic estimates of pre-tax value per share of fully developed resource USD 130 to USD 310.

Key use of funds EMAI (electromagnetic analogue induction) logging of 3D leads for at depth indications of hydrocarbon phase, inferred porosity and permeability and reservoir thickness to mature 3D leads to initial EMAI reservoir models that enable initial resource estimates by hydrocarbon phase and depth.

Initial resource estimates by hydrocarbon phase valued at USD 0.25 per barrel may boost the price of Raphael shares to USD 7.00 to USD 12.00 for an oil resource and USD 4.00 to USD 8.00 for a gas resource that with the benefit of a detachable warrant for 2 shares offers a potential “free ride” of ~250,000 to ~280,000 shares after the sale of shares to recover a 100,000 share investment.

*Initial EMAI (electromagnetic analogue induction) logging for fluid indications – oil, gas, water – and inferred porosity and permeability for preliminary resource estimates by hydrocarbon, reservoir thickness and depth

Company Overview

Raphael Energy Group Limited (“Raphael”), via a wholly owned Australian subsidiary, holds a Western Australia Special Prospecting Authority with Acreage Option STP-SPA-0089 (“SPA-89”) located onshore the north central area of the Officer Basin. SPA-89 has the benefit of massive reservoirs seen in Officer Basin wells as well as located within a tectonically quiescent area, structures with vast areas. With that combination, SPA-89 has structures that collectively can host billions of barrels of oil and/or gas resource. For example, a Ryder Scott 2009 best estimate (P50) of recoverable oil resource for a license covering the southern part of SPA-89 was 32.3 billion barrels (P90 17.0, P10 55.4). Notably, Ryder Scott clients include oil and gas majors BP and Chevron as well as Bank of America and Citibank.

Raphael’s proprietary 3D GravMag mapping technique that maps structures the equivalent of 3D seismic subsurface mapping with a resolution on the Z-Axis as low as 50 meters, has mapped one formation in 12 structures with total mean unrisked prospective oil resource recoverable of 9.16 billion barrels of oil (“BnBO”) (P90 3.41 BnBO, P10 15.82 BnBO) or 5.14 billion oil-equivalent barrels of gas (“BnOEB”) (P90 1.99 BnOEB, P10 8.89 BnOEB), assuming the hydrocarbons in the reservoirs are entirely oil or entirely gas.

SPA-89 3D GravMag Structures - P50 Areas

In addition, the near vertical migration of hydrocarbon microseepages from pressured hydrocarbon accumulations induce changes at the surface that provide a variety of near-surface expressions - indirect hydrocarbon indications. Raphael undertook four reconnaissance surveys of SPA-89 for indirect hydrocarbon indications that yielded 3D GravMag structures with as many as four stacked indirect hydrocarbon indications. A presentation at the American Association of Petroleum Geologists 2017 International Conference reported that 80% of 1,150 wells drilled with an indirect hydrocarbon indication (positive anomaly) were discoveries. As such, 3D GravMag leads with multiple indirect hydrocarbon indications have an excellent chance of discovery, that in this instance may be hundreds of millions or billions of barrels of oil or gas equivalent.

The most significant outcome of SPA-89 work to-date is highlighting three adjoining 3D GravMag leads, Ambrosia North, Ambrosia South and Concorde (the “SPA-89 Trio”), with a valuable combination of:

  • 94% to 100% of as many as four stacked indirect hydrocarbon indications; and
  • major oil company scale (Occidental Petroleum) prospective resource with mean unrisked recoverable resource of 5.0 BnBO (P90 1.9 BnBO, P10 8.9 BnBO) or 3.1 BnOEB (P90 1.1 BnOEB, P10 5.4 BnOEB), assuming the hydrocarbons in the reservoirs are entirely oil or entirely gas.

To mature 3D GravMag leads to prospects, Raphael undertakes EMAI (electromagnetic analogue induction) logging of 3D GravMag structures. EMAI field studies record the naturally occurring electromagnetic signal with a small antenna sitting on the surface for approximately 30 minutes. A proprietary analysis of the electromagnetic signal extracts high frequency data imprinted on deeper penetrating lower frequency signals to provide fluid indications – oil, gas, water – and inferred porosity and permeability from significant depth. EMAI resolution is 2 to 3 meters (6 to 10 feet) down to a depth of approximately 6,000 meters (20,000 feet).

Using high resolution EMAI logs, Raphael builds 3D reservoir models that enable resource estimates by hydrocarbon phase and depth.

EMAI Reservoir Model Geosections – Analogue Induction Logs (AIL) of an Oil Accumulation with Gas Cap

Importantly, 3D EMAI reservoir models can be validated with passive soil gas studies over the area of a 3D EMAI reservoir model with the area and intensity of microseepages in the near surface correlated by hydrocarbon phase to the 3D EMAI reservoir model as well as structural conformance.

The outcome is 3D prospects with resource estimates by hydrocarbon phase and associated depth that with likely one or more associated indirect hydrocarbon indications that alone have an 80% discovery rate, have a high chance of success.

In addition, potential drilling locations can be de-risked and high-graded with EMAI logging of potential drilling locations to position a well to maximize reservoir contact.

Key use of funds from this offering is initial EMAI logging of three to five locations on SPA-89 Trio structures with those logs used to generate initial 3D EMAI reservoir models of each Trio structure for resource estimates by hydrocarbon phase and depth. Initial resource estimates by hydrocarbon phase and depth should boost the value of Raphael shares.

Potential “Free Ride” Investment

Notably, the area of indirect hydrocarbon indications of the SPA-89 Trio are greater than the P50 area of the 3D GravMag structure, suggesting a P50/mean accumulation or more.
A “wide mean” of 70% to 130% of total mean resource valued at USD 0.25 per barrel suggests a potential price of ~USD 7 to ~USD 12 for an oil resource of 3.5 to 6.5 billion barrels and ~USD 4 to ~USD 8 for a gas resource of 2.2 to 4.0 billion oil-equivalent barrels.

This sets up a potential “free ride” investment that with the benefit of a detachable warrant to buy 2 Class A shares for USD 2.50 each that expires 30 June 2030 offers an investor a potential “free ride” of ~250,000 to ~280,000 shares after the sale of shares to recover a 100,000 share investment.

Importantly, in addition to trading on PrimaryMarkets, Raphael plans to list on Nasdaq Dubai Private Market as well, offering greater visibility to an investor pool of regional and international wealth as well as improved liquidity and transferability to aid execution of a “free ride” strategy.
