Pre-Money Valuation: ~$38M
Minimum Investment $10,000
Investment Highlights
Thompson Couplings Ltd has developed breakthrough power transmission technology. It supplies two types of advanced constant velocity couplings for use in industrial, transport and aerospace environments. Its proprietary TCVJ technology transmits power without load-bearing sliding surfaces, while the TCAE range incorporates a dual hinged proprietary design. Both technologies accommodate angular, parallel and axial shaft misalignment, helping to reduce vibration, wear, energy consumption and maintenance requirements while extending equipment life.
Following years of engineering development and commercial use the technology has evolved into a comprehensive range of more than 100 couplings to suit most industrial applications.
The global coupling market is estimated to exceed US$10 billion per annum with couplings used in manufacturing, mining, energy, transport, marine and aerospace industries.
Growing high value commercial validation in Archer Aviation and Airbus testing programs.
Strong Intellectual Property protection.

Company Overview
Thompson Couplings Ltd has developed a comprehensive range of couplings using its breakthrough technology to suit most industrial applications.
It has established a successful business supplying its current customers.
It is now ready to scale up its operation to address the US$10 billion per annum global market for couplings.
This fund raise will enable it to make a strong start on that project.
Thompson Couplings Ltd is an Australian engineering technology company which supplies innovative constant velocity couplings that improve the performance, reliability and efficiency of rotating power transmission systems. The company’s proprietary coupling designs are unique in transferring rotational power efficiently compared to traditional shaft couplings that suffer vibration, wear, heat generation and energy loss from common installations with shaft misalignment. The technology accommodates all types of misalignment, resulting in lower maintenance costs and extended equipment life.
The Thompson Coupling is engineered to accommodate angular, parallel and axial shaft misalignment while maintaining constant velocity between connected shafts. By reducing friction, vibration and mechanical wear, the technology is designed to extend equipment life, reduce downtime and maintenance costs, and improve overall operating efficiency. These characteristics give the product potential applications across a broad range of industries, including mining, manufacturing, energy, oil and gas, marine, aviation, defence and transport.
Thompson Couplings has developed 103 standard product configurations, creating an established product platform that can be adapted across multiple industrial applications. The company estimates that its technology addresses segments of the global industrial coupling market valued at approximately US$10–15 billion annually.

Commercial progress includes a US$490,000 purchase order from Archer Aviation for titanium aerospace couplings associated with its electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft program. The company estimates that successful progression into ongoing production could represent an annual opportunity of approximately A$4–8 million. A Thompson Coupling designed for helicopter applications is also undergoing evaluation by Airbus, providing further engagement with a major global aerospace manufacturer.
The company has established an international distribution network spanning Australia, North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. These relationships provide access to established industrial customers, local technical sales capabilities and a scalable pathway into international markets without requiring Thompson Couplings to build wholly owned operations in every region.
With its core engineering and product-development platform established, Thompson Couplings is now focused on accelerating commercial growth.
Thompson Couplings is targeting a high-margin and scalable business model, with forecast gross margins of approximately 45–50%. The proposed capital raise is intended to help the company convert existing technology, product capability and commercial interest into broader adoption and recurring revenue across global industrial markets.
