Investment Highlights
Unique Technology / IP
White Graphene is built on proprietary methods developed over years of research at Deakin University, giving it exclusive intellectual property to manufacture high-quality boron nitride nanosheets (BNNS).
Scalable Production
The company has progressed from pilot-scale (grams per week) to a production facility now capable of producing multiple kilograms per day, showing its capability to scale up output substantially.
Market Applications
White Graphene’s BNNS have many attractive properties, thermal conductivity, chemical and thermal stability, impermeability, electrical insulation, strength, and more, making them suitable for diverse applications ranging from coatings, composites, thermal management, to aerospace and electronics.
Strategic Partnerships
The company has formed collaborations with industry and research organisations to explore and validate uses of BNNS in aerospace and is working with other industry partners to bring its materials to market.
Company Overview
White Graphene Ltd was founded in 2020 as a joint venture between PPK Group and Deakin University to:
- Develop a low-cost, high-quality method to manufacture the two-dimensional (2D) material White Graphene (WG), also known as Boron Nitride Nanosheets
-Investigate and commercialise potential applications for WG across a range of industries - White Graphene is an advanced nanoscale 2D material possessing unique properties that are complementary to carbon or black graphene
- It is a 2D material consisting of hexagonal arrays of boron and nitrogen atoms that can be an incredibly strong tensile reinforcement in other materials

White Graphene Limited is an Australian company specializing in the development and production of high-quality boron nitride nanomaterials, also known as white graphene. It operates as a joint venture between PPK Group Limited and Deakin University, with the primary goal of commercializing its unique nanomaterial. The company's white graphene products are used in various industries, including electronics, aerospace, automotive, and energy, to create advanced composites and materials with superior strength, heat resistance, and electrical insulation.
